If you are a regular around here, you’ll know how much we love pizza. While my kids usually like to stick with pepperoni, I try to make up another “fun” pizza every time we have pizza night.
This Chicken Alfredo Pizza is my latest obsession.
It starts with an easy alfredo sauce, the same recipe we like to serve with pasta. It is seriously so easy and practically fool-proof. You just stir all of the ingredients together until melted and creamy.
Then top the pizza with chicken, bacon, and lots of cheese. It’s pretty simple, but it packs a good flavor punch!

Ingredients
- Cream Cheese: The cream cheese is a shortcut to make a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce. I use full fat cream cheese.
- Milk: You should be able to use any milk you have on hand. I used 2%.
- Parmesan Cheese: Freshly grated parmesan is best, as it will melt easily.
- Butter: I like to use unsalted butter so that the sauce isn’t overly salty.
- Garlic Powder: You could also use fresh garlic, but I find a bit of garlic powder works just as well here.
- Pepper: You will add pepper to taste. I like a lot of pepper in my Alfredo, but you could add as little or as much as you’d like.
- Pizza Dough: You can use homemade dough or store bought dough. I always go for my homemade pizza dough!
- Mozzarella: Again, if possible, use freshly grated mozzarella cheese. It will melt so much better.
- Chicken: This is a great time to use any cooked, shredded chicken that you may have on hand. I actually had some leftover roast chicken that I used this time, so I had light and dark meat, but I’ve also made it with shredded chicken breast.
- Bacon: The bacon really is optional, but I feel like it adds so much. In fact, when I was testing this recipe, I started off without the bacon, but it just felt like it was missing something. The bacon really does add great flavor and brings everything together.
- Green Onion: I like to add something fresh before serving, and green onions work well here.

How to Make Chicken Alfredo Pizza
STEP 1: Make the alfredo sauce by simply mixing all of the alfredo ingredients together in a small saucepan. Cook until everything is melted and combined. You should have a thick alfredo sauce. Spread this over your pizza dough.
STEP 2: Next, top the pizza with half of the mozzarella cheese. Then sprinkle the chicken over the top of the cheese.
STEP 3: Add the bacon on top of the chicken.
STEP 4: Take the remaining mozzarella and sprinkle it over the top. Add some additional parmesan, if desired. Bake the pizza until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

Tips and Tricks

I like to bake my pizza on a pizza stone. If you are using a stone, make sure you let it heat up in the oven for 30 minutes before you bake your pizza.
If you don’t have any shredded chicken on hand, you can also cook a chicken breast and cube it.
This is best served when it is fresh, but it is pretty good warmed up in the air fryer as leftovers!
