It was rainy and a bit cold yesterday. So last night, I went through the house and opened a few windows, thinking that the cooler temperatures outside would cool the house down easier than the air conditioner. It’s still been quite warm here, but I wanted to take advantage of the cooler night.
As I was opening up the windows, my husband commented that we probably only have another 2 weeks of warm weather before the cold starts creeping in.
I’m so not ready.
I do love fall, but I’m not ready to give up some of my favorite parts of summer yet.
(Although to be completely honest, I love grilling year round. But there is something about grilling in the summer that makes it really feel like summer!)
So I’m going to keep on grilling. Because when you can grill up a grilled chicken sandwich like this one, you will want to keep the grilling going, too!
Up until the last month or two, my kids only liked cheese pizza. But then all of a sudden, they started asking for pepperoni pizza. So I decided to go with it while I can, and I combined those favorite pepperoni pizza flavors with a grilled chicken sandwich that they whole family would love. What we ended up with was a dinner with incredible flavor, and it only took a few ingredients and 30 minutes!!
For the sandwiches, I used Tyson Fresh Chicken. I am a believer in quality, especially when it comes to something like chicken. When you buy Tyson Fresh Chicken, you know that you are getting all natural* chicken, with no added hormones or steroids**. It is fresh, leaving the farm just days before it lands on the shelves at your grocery store. And it has been raised by family farmers for 75 years. When you are feeding your family, quality really matters!
So let’s hold onto the summer grilling for a little longer. And once you’ve made this grilled chicken sandwich, head over to PickTysonFresh.com where you can find more grilling recipes that will make menu planning for your family easier. And for even more chicken inspiration, check out tyson.com.
