6 oz breakfast sausage links
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Add the butter and using a pastry cutter or a fork, cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
1/3 cup butter
Stir the cheese and the sliced sausage into the flour mixture. Pour in the milk and stir just until it starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
4 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1 cup milk
Pour the mixture out onto a work surface dusted with flour. Knead just until it comes together - the dough will be sticky. Pat into a rectangle about 10x6 inches.
Cut into 6 rectangles. Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 13-15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven and brush with the melted butter. Serve warm.

Notes
These can be made ahead of time and heated up for breakfast. I like to reheat in the air fryer, but the microwave also works.Nutrition information provided as an estimate only. Various brands and products can change the counts. Any nutritional information should be used as a general guide.
