Ingredients
1/2cupreduced sodium soy sauce
1/4cuphoney
2teaspoonssesame oil
2garlic clovescrushed
2 1/2poundsboneless, skinless chicken thighs
Instructions
Place the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and garlic in a ziplock bag and mix to combine. Add the chicken and seal the bag. Turn it over a few times to coat the chicken.
Refrigerate the chicken for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.
When ready to cook, heat a grill over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, discarding the marinade. Grill until the chicken is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Serve topped with chopped parsley or green onions, if desired.
Notes
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts can be used instead of thighs. They will take about 8-9 minutes per side.An instant read thermometer is your best friend when grilling chicken. Especially if you are grilling breasts. Thighs tend to be a little more forgiving and are harder to overcook.Nutrition information provided as an estimate only. Various brands and products can change the counts. Any nutritional information should be used as a general guide. Nutrition information is over estimated, as it is determined using all of the marinade (while you will discard a lot before cooking).
