Ingredients
2tablespoonsbutter
2tablespoonsflour
1 1/2cupshalf and half
3 1/2cupsfrozen peas
2teaspoonssugar
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonpepper
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
2ouncescream cheesecut into cubes
Instructions
In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and let the mixture cook for a minute.

Whisk in the half and half. Let the mixture cook until it just starts to thicken.

Stir in the peas, and cook for 3-4 minutes to let the peas thaw.
3 1/2 cups frozen peas
Season with the sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Add the cream cheese and continue to cook, stirring, until the cream cheese is melted and smooth.

Serve the peas warm.
