4cupsbaking mix,such as Bisquick
4ozCheddar cheese,grated
1 1/3cupsbuttermilk
1/2cupmelted butter
1 1/2teaspoonsgarlic powder,divided
1 1/4teaspoonsOld Bay Seasoning,divided
1/2cupmelted butter
1/2teaspoondried parsley
1/4teaspoononion powder
1/4teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the baking mix, cheese, buttermilk, 1 teaspoon of the Old Bay seasoning, and 1/2 teaspoon of the garlic powder. Mix until the dough is combined. Use a scoop to scoop balls of batter onto the baking sheet. Place them a couple of inches apart.
Bake the biscuits until they are golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
While the biscuits are baking, combine the melted butter with the remaining teaspoon of garlic powder and remaining 1/4 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning, as well as the dried parsley, onion powder and salt.
When the biscuits are done, remove from the oven and immediately brush the melted butter mixture.
Serve warm.
