Peanut butter lovers won’t be able to stay away from this Peanut Butter Popcorn - popcorn that is coated with a sweet and sticky peanut butter coating.
1/2cuppopcornunpopped, or about 16 cups of popped popcorn
1cupgranulated sugar
1cuplight corn syrup
1cuppeanut butter
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
Pop the popcorn, place in a large bowl, and set aside
Combine the sugar and the corn syrup in a medium saucepan. Set over medium heat and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Add the peanut butter, and stir to combine. Stir in the vanilla.
Pour the mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat.
Notes
*Make sure you don't cook the mixture more than 2 minutes. It will become too thick, and it will be hard to stir into the popcorn. If it is too hard to stir in, that means you cooked the mixture too long.
