Description

Perfect for Halloween or for a spooky dinner or lunch, these Mummy Hot Dogs are kid approved and couldn’t be easier!

Scale

Ingredients

  • 10 hot dogs
  • 1 tube (8 oz) crescent rolls
  • Edible eyes, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough. Divide the dough into 4 rectangles – each will have 2 of the triangles. Pinch the seams of the rectangles together.
  3. Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut each rectangle into 10 long strips. Wrap 4 strips of dough around each hot dog to form the mummy wrapping. Place on a baking sheet.
  4. Once all of the hot dogs are wrapped, bake the hot dogs in the preheated oven until the crescent dough is golden brown, 13-17 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven, and if using, place the edible eyes on the hot dogs.

Recipe Notes:

If you want the eyes to stick, you can use a little dot of ketchup or mustard.
