A look at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino, including rooms, pools, and beach.
Oh, Aruba…
Where do I even begin? As many of you know, I spent 5 days on the One Happy Island last month. I took more photos than I care to admit to, and I have memories that will last a lifetime. But of course, I want to share all the details with all of you! Whether you are planning a vacation to Aruba in the near future, or even if it’s just on your bucket list, I’m hoping that my posts over the next few weeks will help you out!!
Up first – accommodations!
I spent my time in Aruba at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino. Located on what many will say is Aruba’s best beach, Palm Beach, you can’t beat the location of the Hilton. The Hilton is located on the largest stretch of beachfront on Palm Beach, and is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The capital city of Oranjestad is less than 10 miles away.
The Hilton recently underwent a facelift, changing from a Radisson to the Hilton just earlier this year. With over 350Â guest rooms, 2 pools, a spa and plenty of both indoor and outdoor event space, you will find everything that you need at the Hilton. With the change in names, the guest rooms have undergone facelifts, as well as the water and electrical systems.
My room was decorated very beautifully and tastefully, with 2 double beds (oh, so comfy!), as well as a flat screen tv, refrigerator, and a laptop sized safe.
There was also a large closet, and lots of drawer space. Â I seriously wanted to just move in!! Â But believe me, I did make myself at home for those few nights that I was there!
The bathrooms have granite countertops, and although not pictured, the shower was pretty much the best shower I’ve had in quite some time. Â Maybe it’s because the water pressure is better at sea level, or maybe it’s because I had more than 3 minutes to shower without kids, but it was glorious.
They even welcomed me with a snack tray upon arrival. (Which was much needed after coming in on a redeye!)
But the best part? Â A balcony. Â With a view. Â I didn’t spend a lot of time in my room while I was there, but when I was in my room, you can bet that I was spending that time out on this balcony.
See that view? Â Can you see why I was smitten with this balcony?
The Hilton Aruba has 2 pools, both zero entry pools, which makes them very kid friendly. Â There are also gardens and waterfalls and even tropical birds. Â They also offer a Discover Program, where you can enjoy biking, yoga, paddle boarding – even archery lessons and cupcake decorating.
But this is one of the best amenities, in my opinion. Â This beautiful beach, just steps from the hotel. Â There are plenty of palapas and the water is pristine. Â This beach would be perfect for your family, as the waves are not too strong or too big.
Can I just move in??
The Hilton also has several restaurants. Â I didn’t have a chance to dine at any of the restaurants (except for a dinner we had on the beach – more on that to come!) but there are plenty of choices right there at the hotel. Â You could literally come to this property and never have to leave during your vacation, and you’d never get bored or hungry!
I also have to mention that the service I received at the Hilton Aruba was great as well. Â Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Â I can’t wait to bring my family back next time!
PS – don’t miss the sunsets on the beach. Â Breathtaking.
My trip was sponsored by Discover Aruba, but all opinions are my own, as always!

It had been years since I’d been to the Caribbean and Europe’s beaches just don’t hold a candle to the Caribbean. Since I recently went to The Bahamas, I’m on the hunt for my next trip to that side of the ocean and that white sand beach is making me swoon!
