Description

Ham and Cheese Pockets – An easy weeknight dinner, biscuits are filled with ham and cheese and baked to perfection.

Scale

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 can (16 oz) jumbo buttermilk biscuits
  • 48 slices of deli ham
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese and mustard until smooth.
  3. Open the can of biscuits. On a work surface, lay out the biscuits and flatten to slightly larger than the normal size. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on each of the biscuits. Place 1-2 slices of deli ham on each biscuit, followed by equal amounts of cheese.
  4. Fold the biscuits in half, enclosing the ham and cheese, forming a half moon shape. Pinch the edges together, or use a fork to seal the edges. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are browned and cooked through.
