Description
An easy sorbet made from chocolate and coconut milk, this Chocolate Coconut Sorbet is an easy sorbet recipe to make at home.

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
- 8 oz bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 2 cups Thai coconut milk (not sweetened coconut milk)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water, sugar and salt over medium heat until warmed, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove the mixture from the heat.
- Add the chocolate and whisk until it is melted and combined.
- Whisk in the coconut milk and the vanilla.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator until completely cold.
- Freeze the mixture according to your ice cream maker’s instructions.
Recipe Notes:
If a layer of coconut milk has formed on top, simply whisk it in before churning.
