Chocolate Chip Crunch Cookies

These Chocolate Chip Crunch Cookies get an added bit of crunch from a secret ingredient – crushed corn flakes.



  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips


  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Mix together the melted butter and both sugars. Add the soda, salt, vanilla and beaten eggs. Mix well. Add the flour and mix in. Add in the corn flakes and the chocolate chips and mix thoroughly.
  3. For the dough into golf ball sized balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. For a flatter cookie, slightly flatten.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 6-8 minutes. Cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes then remove to a cookie sheet until completely cool.
