Copycat Red Lobster Biscuits

If you love the Red Lobster biscuits, you’ll go love these Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits! Filled with herbs and garlic, these tender biscuits are a great copycat recipe that belong on your dinner table.



  • 4 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 4 oz Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder, divided
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning, divided
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the baking mix, cheese, buttermilk, 1 teaspoon of the Old Bay seasoning, and 1/2 teaspoon of the garlic powder. Mix until the dough is combined. Use a scoop to scoop balls of batter onto the baking sheet. Place them a couple of inches apart.
  3. Bake the biscuits until they are golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. While the biscuits are baking, combine the melted butter with the remaining teaspoon of garlic powder and remaining 1/4 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning, as well as the dried parsley, onion powder and salt.
  5. When the biscuits are done, remove from the oven and immediately brush the melted butter mixture.
  6. Serve warm.
