Scale
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325ºF. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, or spray with nonstick cooking spray.

- Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Add the flour, baking soda and salt and stir to combine. Stir in the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
- Spread evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake until the brownies are set, about 25 minutes. Do not over-bake.
- Let the brownies cool, then cut into squares.
