Description

All of the flavors from a favorite sandwich in dip form. This BLT Dip has bacon, mayonnaise, tomatoes and lettuce to form the perfect party appetizer!

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 roma tomatoes, seeds removed and diced
  • Shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. While the oven is preheating, dice the bacon and then place in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until the bacon is crisp, then remove with a slotted spoon to a paper towel lined plate.
  3. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream and cream cheese. Stir until combined. (There may still be a few lumps from the cream cheese – don’t worry about making it completely smooth.)
  4. Stir in the cheese, half of the tomatoes and the cooked bacon.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 1-quart baking dish.
  6. Bake until warmed through and bubbling, about 20-25 minutes.
  7. Top the warm dip with shredded lettuce and the remaining tomatoes.
