Whenever I travel, I always end up with a handful of photos that didn’t really fit into any of the posts that I had planned, but they are photos that I still want to share. So welcome to today’s edition of random photos from around Seattle, Washington!!
I already talked about my breakfast at Lola in Seattle. I walked to the restaurant, and decided to take some photos along the way. My hotel was right along the water which made for a beautiful view!!
After I was done with breakfast, I had to stop at Dahlia Bakery since it was just across the street. (Not that I hadn’t eaten enough already!!) I had read about the famous Coconut Cream Pie, so I had to try it for myself. I did get the slice to go and ended up devouring that slice of pie. I love coconut cream, and it was delicious!!
On my way back to the hotel, I decided to take the long way and walk through Pike Place market. It was surprisingly busy that day. It was still fun to walk through and look at all the vendors and watch the fish flying. I did get yelled at by one lady for taking a photograph of her booth. She was selling photos of Seattle, and I guess she was afraid I was going to take a picture of her picture to blow up and hang on my wall??? Who knows!!
And since I was there already, I had to stop at Beechers for some mac and cheese. Beechers has been on my list for quite some time now, so I’m glad I was finally able to experience that mac and cheese. It was creamy and melty, and I pretty much thought it was perfection.
This is my favorite way to explore a city – just me and my camera and no plan in mind. It was a fun afternoon!!

Funny the same thing always happens to me and I usually do photo essays to because I hate the fact that some photos may never see the light of day!

When I was a kid I swore I wanted to move to Seattle. Funny enough though I have never been…haha. It looks exactly like what I imagine and need to go soon!
