Cooking Light

…with no access to the outside world. I was in line at the grocery store a few weeks back and saw this innocent issue of Cooking Light sitting there, begging to be bought. The cake on front looked amazing, so I picked it up and decided that the magazine needed a home. I took it to work this week, hoping for some downtime where I could flip through the pages and pick up a few recipes to try out. Yeah right, a few. Do you see all of those little yellow papers sticking out?? Those are recipes that I want to try. Add this to the cookbooks I have at home, the cookbooks I am dying to buy, the hundreds of recipes I have printed out, oh, and the 90+ recipes I have bookmarked since discovering the world of food blogging. What’s a girl to do??

I know, food magazines and cookbooks are not safe when I am in a bookstore or grocery – I have this uncontrollable desire for MORE! I have many a cookbook and magazine that looks like that. I even have a filing cabinet FULL of recipes copied from the internet. I don’t have enough days in my life to make all of them! But still I buy more and more and more…
