**See the bottom of the post for details on a new giveaway!!**

Since everyone loves a giveaway, I’ll start with the winner of this month’s Cookbook of the Month: Martha Stewart’s Everyday Food – Great Food Fast.

And the winner is – comment number 155 – Kate!! Kate – email me your mailing information to tasteandtell@gmail.com by this Friday, April 3rd to claim your prize. If I haven’t heard from you, I’ll choose a new winner on Saturday.

I have to say, I think that this month’s cookbook is my new favorite cookbook. Not only does every recipe have it’s own beautiful picture, but every recipe was a good one. And fast, easy, and made with common grocery store items.

This cookbook is divided into seasons, which I love, since I am trying to eat a little bit more seasonally. But the good thing about it is that most of the recipes really would be good for any time of year. Another one of my favorite things about this cookbook is that the times listed for how long it will take to prepare the recipes are really quite accurate.

I seriously haven’t stopped thinking about those lemon cakes, and every recipe I made from this book is worthy of repeating. I can’t say that a whole lot!! I know this blog will be seeing many more recipes from this book!

March’s Recipes:

Chicken Stir-Fry Wraps: 4.5 out of 5

Roasted Chicken and Vegetables: 4.25 out of 5

Glazed Lemon Cakes: 4.625 out of 5

Chicken Chilaquiles: 4.75 out of 5

Average Rating: 4.53 out of 5

I really went back and forth with a few cookbooks for the April Cookbook of the Month, but I think I’m really going to enjoy what I chose – Baked. This cookbook seems to be quite popular in the food blogging world right now, so I know quite a few people already have it. But I had so much fun with the giveaway of the March book that I decided to do it again for April! You can still enter if you have the book – you’ll just have a book to give away as a gift, or you can give it away on your blog! You’ll have 5 chances to enter. Leave a comment on any or all of the April Cookbook of the Month posts, starting with this one. The contest will end on Wednesday, April 29th at 12 midnight MDT. The winner will be chosen on Thursday, April 30th, so make sure to check back to see if you won!

I bought the book at Costco, but last time I was there, they didn’t have it anymore. I bought the copy for the contest on Amazon – that’s usually where I buy my books because the price is better than at the bookstore! I would really recommend this book, though – I think it’s great!
