On a weekly basis I cook up apples so that they're nice and soft, almost like applesauce :). I'm always super organized and list everything out but usually lack a backup plan. Just this past weekend I was planning to make cream puffs using anginetti cookies -- well, I went to two stores and no cookies. But I had promised I was bringing cream puffs to a party that night, so I got home and proceeded to make cream puffs from scratch -- something I had never done before. And it worked!
