I have a fun giveaway for you all today! A little while back, I was lucky enough to meet some folks from World Kitchen – the people behind such brands as Chicago Cutlery, Corelle, Corningware, Pyrex, Revere, and Snapware. These are all brands that I’ve been using for years, and that my mom still has in her kitchen, as well!!
I oohed and aaahed over a lot of the products that I saw, but one thing in particular caught my eye. It was the gorgeous Corningware French White Serving Platter with a Wood Tray. I just knew that I thought it was gorgeous, and I that I would love to use it for serving, both with and without the wood tray. I could see the possibilities!
Lucky me – and lucky for one of you – Wolrld Kitchen sent me not only this beautiful serving platter, but also a mini pie plate to test out. And to give one of each to one of you!

I have Pyrex, but haven’t gotten a chance to branch out and buy more stuff because I was surprised with 2 children sooner than expected. LOL I’ve been looking for old Corningware at garage sales and estate sales, but surprisingly enough, haven’t come across any! I guess noone wants to party with them.

Adore Corningware! It’s one of my favorite things! I love it when they come out with new products since I still have what I got at my wedding shower 36 years ago! This stuff lasts! Of course over the years have added some of the French White line, and this looks like a great product as well.

I have so many fond memories of cooking with my mom, and the cookware/ mixing bowls /wooden spoons we use are such a part of these memories.
