I saw this idea of the heart shaped marshmallows in a Martha Stewart Magazine over the weekend. I knew I wanted to try it so I wouldn’t forget about it, but it is not exactly hot chocolate weather anymore. Then I saw that one of the themes at The World Through My Eyes on flickr was “a cup or mug” and I knew that I wanted to do this. So, it looked a lot better in the magazine – those hearts are not exactly easy to pull off. You would think all you need to do is smoosh the marshmallow a bit and then cut it with small cookie cutter, but once it was cut, it didn’t hold it’s shape as well as I had hoped for. But I still think it is a very creative idea, and might try it again sometime next winter when I have company over!
